Does anyone know how I can use this trick for a 2x2 drop shaft and chamber? If I use ladders the mobs (drowned farm) land on the ladders and if I use vines they dont take fall damage. Should I expand the chamber at the bottom and use ladders?? Or would the weeping vines work? (or do they prevent mob fall damage too?)

for the problem in freecam where you could use it to teleport basically: you could save the player position when doing /c and then /s. This would be similar to how freecam works in hacked clients :gasp:

I built a guardian farm, but just a passive drop collection farm. I drained the monument and dug it out to y0, dropped the guardians onto hoppers which sent the items into a collection system, lit all caves around the farm, and made an afk spot above the farm at y=114 such that the entire farm (including the hoppers collecting the guardian drops) are within the 128 block sphere around the player. But I don't seem to be getting anywhere near the thousands of drops per hour I expected. I vaguely recall that the player's position in the chunk might have something to do with spawning rates. Could this be affecting the spawn rates? Any thoughts from the expert?

For version 1.20, raise the endermite in his minecart by one block, and add a few more carpets above and around it. Extend the ceiling at the back of the farm 32 blocks out to avoid Endermen teleporting behind you, and triple-carpet them all.

Add a rule to make spectators not load chunks in 1.20.4 i cant debug lazy chunk useing machines

I don't get the point of having reinforcements spawning in the same block as the source zombie. Like, I understand how that mechanic works, but I don't get why it's useful. There's no way to know which zombies are leaders, and even if you DO have a leader in there once its counter hits 0 then the snow golems are just gonna be bullying a useless zombie that can't spawn any reinforcements. Even if you can replace the leader there's only a small chance that the next one in that space will be a leader, making the setup seem pointless.

Hi everybody, if your like me you've used this farm for years as of today it no longer works BUT you can modify it slightly by moving the endermite back 1 BLOCK and it still works as good as ever!

I am so sorry to say but after five years, in the latest snapshot 24w18a this farm doesnt work, maybe if you could move the minecart a little further it would work but at this point it doesn't work
